The trouble with most winter gloves is not the cold, it is the bulk — you cannot pick up a screw wearing a padded mitt. This one works the other way round: thin, firm synthetic leather outside, soft flannel inside. You keep the feel in your fingers and you are not cold after ten minutes.

The green inserts between the fingers are there for a reason. A lined glove traps moisture, and a damp hand goes cold faster than a dry one. The inserts let it out, and they make the glove more mobile exactly where it flexes most.

A lined work glove for cool conditions, not a certified cold protection glove to EN 511 and not waterproof. For sustained work in a freezer store or hard frost with wet, use a glove with a declared cold protection level.
